There are many security, safety and occupational risks that are presented to the aviation industry and security technology has been implemented to deter, monitor, and identify such events this includes aircraft approach monitoring which provides emergency services with a high definition video and thermal video feed from multiple PTZ cameras to identify faults or issues with approaching and departing aircraft under any weather condition up to 11km+ away. These systems have been used to stop disasters occurring and ultimately saving lives.

 

Airports utilise various access control and credential formats around the world, this makes it difficult for aircrew to access airports which are not their home base. Traditionally aircrew would need to carry multiple access cards and even then, access would likely be disabled when they arrive at a remote port. ACG have provided custom solutions that enable a single card to be used throughout various airports whilst ensuring card data is secure for each port.
